We can mix tracks done at another studio or your home studio on our console with all of our analog tools to add a professional finish to your project. Listen below to some examples of projects brought to us before and after mixing.
Every project is different and each project will require a different set of tools to achieve the best mix. Some projects will require extra work with re-amping or drum work, and some wont.
Our pricing is based off of how many tracks total we will be mixing, and how many extra processes we may have to do to redo or fix parts of the mix. Contact us and tell us about your project and we can give you a custom quote.
Please reach us at Info@RedLionRecordingStudio.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Mixing is the process of bringing all the different tracks and instruments together into one combined song. During this process dynamics, levels, equalization, are manipulated to fit all instruments and music into one cohesive song. At Red Lion, we convert the digital signals too analog and use our console to mix the signals together while incorporating our analog and digital processors.
To mix your project we will need all of the audio files at at least 16bit 44.1khz (24 bit prefered). We ask you leave all fx, EQ, and compression off before bouncing your audio files so that we can use our equipment instead.
We have many options to fix bad guitar tone. If you have a direct recording of your guitar we can re-amp through our amps cabs mics and gear to get an excellent tone. We sometimes have the ability with our tools to sculpt a tone out of an already recorded guitar tone.
We can help! If you have a drum tack, we can re-record in in our world class live room with any of our drums. We have professional drummers to perform and record your tracks with all the gear and room mics. In other situations, we can use our own samples of our drums in our rooms and convert your drum recording into triggers for our drum sounds to replace yours.
While we specialize in all types of rock music we have the ability to mix any style of music in our studio. Our mix engineers have worked on a variety of music and as long as you have some samples of what you are going for, we can absolutely help you get there.
